Term of Service

1. OVERVIEW AND OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

This website is operated by Jtokucostume. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Jtokucostume. By visiting our site, inquiring about commissions, or purchasing physical custom costumes, props, or digital 3D STL files from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

All official agreements, price quotations, measurement details, and order communications must be conducted through one of the following written channels:

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or country of residence. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. PAYMENT METHODS, DEPOSIT STRUCTURE, AND FEES

  1. Accepted Payment Methods:
    • PayPal: Payments made as Personal/Gift. If the buyer chooses not to pay via Personal/Gift, a 5% processing fee will be added to the total transfer amount.
    • Western Union: Receiver pick-up at Western Union merchant locations.
    • Bank Transfer: Direct bank-to-bank international wire transfer.
  2. Deposit and Payment Terms:
    • Standard Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total agreed price is required before a commission can be started or materials purchased.
    • Large Orders ($1,000.00 USD or more): An initial deposit of 30% is accepted to start the order, followed by an additional 20% payment required to continue production.
    • Final Balance: All remaining balances must be paid in full before the commissioned piece(s) ship out. Payment deposit structures may be negotiable upon request.
    • Deposit Examples:
      • Total $500.00: $250.00 minimum deposit required; $250.00 required before shipping. 
      • Total $1,000.00: $300.00 minimum deposit required; $700.00 required before shipping. 
      • Total $2,500.00: $750.00 minimum deposit required; $1,750.00 required before shipping.
  3. Non-Refundable Items and Fees:
    • Rush fees are strictly non-refundable.
    • Half-price promotional sale products are strictly non-refundable.

4. QUOTATIONS, SHIPPING, AND PRODUCTION INTEGRITY

  • Quoted Prices: For custom commission quotes, the quoted prices include shipping costs. Please provide your postal zip code when inquiring about commissions to speed up the quotation process.
  • Courier Partner: International shipping is provided via trusted courier partners (such as FedEx, DHL, or EMS)..
  • Unfinished Products Guarantee: Jtokucostume will never ship any unfinished products under any circumstances.

5. MEASUREMENTS, SIZING CHARTS, AND HELMET SPECIFICATIONS

  • Sizing Chart Requirement: A measuring chart will be provided prior to, or upon, receiving the deposit. If a measuring chart is not completed by the buyer, the commission will be suspended and work cannot begin until full measurements are submitted.
  • Waiving Measurement Chart: If the buyer explicitly requests in writing to proceed without completing a measurement chart, there is no guarantee that the commissioned piece(s) will fit the buyer’s needs.
  • Measurement Accuracy and Changes: All commissions are produced based upon the buyer’s provided design and measurements. If your measurements change for any reason, you must update Jtokucostume as soon as possible. Jtokucostume is not responsible for fit issues resulting from unnotified measurement changes.
  • Helmet Sizing: Fiber helmets are produced in standard sizes only. Buyers must explicitly inform us prior to production if a custom-sized helmet is required.

6. FIT ISSUES AND RESOLUTION POLICY

If the commissioned piece(s) are received and do not fit, the cause of the sizing error will determine the resolution:

  • Buyer Measurement Error: If the fitting issue is due to incorrect measurements provided by the buyer, Jtokucostume is not responsible. In this event, we will ask the buyer to measure the received costume and compare it with their original submitted measurement chart.
  • Jtokucostume Error: If the fitting issue is due to an error on our part, one or a combination of the following options may be provided:
    1. Replacement Pieces: Jtokucostume will craft replacement piece(s) and ship them with shipping paid by Jtokucostume, provided the original piece(s) in question are returned with shipping paid by the buyer and received by Jtokucostume within 14 days of return approval.
    2. Modification Guidance: Jtokucostume can provide step-by-step instructions on how to modify the piece(s) locally for an optimal fit. 
    3. Future Discount: Jtokucostume can provide a discount code for your next commission order.

7. QUALITY, DEADLINES, AND PROGRESS UPDATES

  • Quality and Deadlines: We are dedicated to providing exceptional quality and meeting requested event deadlines. If technical or production problems arise that may affect a deadline, we will inform you immediately.
  • Customer Communication: Buyers are welcome to check in for progress updates 1 to 2 times per week, review progress photos closely to catch any design flaws, and remind us of upcoming deadlines.

8. DIGITAL STL FILES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Digital STL Files: All 3D printable files sold on Jtokucostume are protected under intellectual property laws and are intended strictly for personal, non-commercial use (DIY crafting, personal cosplay). Reselling, sharing, or uploading our digital files is prohibited.
  • Fan Art Disclaimer: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, items created by Jtokucostume are fan-made replicas inspired by anime, tokusatsu, cinematic, and gaming characters for fan cosplay and artistic appreciation.
  • Safety Disclaimer: Cosplay helmets, armor, and animatronic components are wearable art props and not protective safety equipment. Buyers assume all risks regarding visibility, ventilation, and movement while wearing our items.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
